I'm having technical difficulties with this cannon SL1300SI camera. I don't have the serial number so I can't register the product or whatever on the internet, which is apparently mandatory. M + D - do you have any idea where the box is? I think my damn phone takes better pics anyway.
Prague is too beautiful, it seems futile and meaningless to write about it without the pictures.
Well, a quick update anyhow. So far I've had a full day of jetlagged orientation (fully adjusted now though), couple days of class, several nights of going out into the city, which begins right outside my dorm, pretty much.
Guys. It's the best history class ever. Half of the first class was walkin around outside while the prof pointed out and discussed the monuments.
Stuff close by my dorm:
My Národní, a massive 4 story department store. TESCO grocery store is in the basement.
Bikram Yoga Prague. It's got a juice bar, too.
Cafe Propaganda, is a pretty cool cafe down the block. It's got a pretty hip euro vibe and south american style decorations. The music is a groovy and readin' friendly. Coffee is 100% Arabic. There's a cute little dog running around w a tennis ball in her mouth. She trotted up to me, and I thought she wanted some human attention, but turns out she just wanted my bread and cheese.
Nakládaný hermelín is a soft cheese, same family as brie and camembert marinated with peppers, onions, and herbs in oil. By the way, coffee in Czech is Káva.
...and so much more! Which I'll write about as soon as I visit them! There's a used bookstore (w music and art) down the block that I can't wait to czech out.
Goals:
- read and improve my mind (museums? classical music concerts?) every day
- scheduled flute practice
- exercise every day
- smile more
